Montana State Outreach Project Career Connection

Montana FCCLA encourages chapters to apply for up to $200 to carry out projects related to the state outreach project.

This year the State Executive Council has selected the Career Connection National Program as our State Outreach Project. Members are encouraged to learn more about career exploration and preparation, then develop projects to share that knowledge within their communities. FCCLA chapters have the opportunity to apply for funding to help offset the cost of their project The funds can be used to purchase supplies or provide equipment necessary to conduct the outreach project. The priority deadline is November 16, with the final deadline December 7. Use this link to request your Career Connection National Program by October 1.

Identify Concern: Describe the concerns your project will address in your community and how your project supports the goals of the Career Connection National Program.(Required)

Set A Goal: Write at least one SMART goal to describe what you will accomplish.(Required)

Form a plan: Address each of the following questions. Who is your target audience for participants? How will you increase awareness or educate the target group? What groups of youth will you contact to join your project? How will you expand the number of participants within your community? How will you recognize participants? What information will you collect to measure the success of your project(Required)

Budget: The maximum grant award is $200 per chapter. Develop a budget outlining where the funds will be spent.(Required)
