Accepting a Grant:
Please read the award letter carefully to understand the requirements and process to receive funds to complete your project. By Monday, November 15, chapters who received a grant must submit the signed grant acceptance letter. Upload your letter and push ‘submit’ here. You will receive a confirmation that your submission was received within 24 hours.
Vision Zero Grant Acceptance Letter
Upon receiving your grant acceptance letter, chapters will receive a grant contract from the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT). No purchases can be made from MDT funding until a contract has been signed and returned to MDT. If you have questions about the funding, please contact

Requirements:
Affiliated Montana FCCLA Chapters who receive a grant agree to:
- Use the Ford Driving Skills, MDT Vision Zero, Montana FCCLA, National Road Safety Foundation, and Governors Highway Safety Association logo are required on all materials. The logos required for this project can be found here:
- Promote the project by social media.
- Collect receipts/documentation for all expenses.
- Take pictures along the way and collect data.
- Project must be completed by March 1. Submit the final report on or before March 1. By doing so, chapters not only fulfill the requirements of the grant but are then also eligible for the cash prizes.

Are there additional funding opportunities?
Chapters may continue to apply for up to $1000 in funding from the Montana Department of Transportation to implement a traffic safety project in your community. All Ford Driving Skills funding has been awarded. Grant funds are restricted. Please review the List of Allowable Expenditures document before creating your budget. Submit a MDT grant application and budget (using the Vision Zero Grant Budget Template) online. Paper or email applications not accepted. Applications will be evaluated on an ongoing basis.
